Cancellation and Refund

THE REAL DIET CAFE believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

  • Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 2-3 days of placing the order. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

  • THE REAL DIET CAFE does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables etc. However, refund/replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the quality of product delivered is not good.

  • In case of receipt of damaged or defective items please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 2-3 days of receipt of the products.

  • In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 2-3 days of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

  • In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them.

  • In case of any Refunds approved by the THE REAL DIET CAFE, it’ll take 3-4 days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.

Order Confirmation

After completing your payment, you will receive an order confirmation email/SMS with your order details. Please review this information and contact us immediately if you notice any discrepancies.

Cancellation Policy

  • Before Preparation: Orders can be canceled within 15 minutes of placing them if the preparation process has not started. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.
  • After Preparation: Once the food preparation has started, cancellations are not allowed.

Refund Policy

  • Incorrect Order: If you receive an incorrect item or missing components, you are eligible for a full or partial refund based on the issue.
  • Quality Issues: If there is a quality issue with the food, please notify us within 2 hours of delivery with evidence (photos, videos). After verification, we will offer a full or partial refund or replacement.
  • Non-Delivery: In the rare event that your order is not delivered, you will receive a full refund.

 

Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

Refund Exceptions

  • Change of Mind: Refunds are not applicable for orders canceled due to change of mind after food preparation has begun.
  • Late Delivery: While we strive for on-time delivery, occasional delays due to traffic or weather are not eligible for refunds unless delivery time exceeds 90 minutes from the promised time.
